Daniel Hechter, a formerly French label that has been owned since 1998 by the German textile company Miltenberger Otto Aulbach, has dropped its sub-brand Daniel Hechter Sport. According to the management, the sports collection did not reach a satisfying market penetration. It is not decided yet whether Daniel Hechter may be marketed by a third party through a license agreement.
