David Beckham's income from personal sponsorship deals dropped by around 10 percent in 2012 after he retired from football. The 2013 accounts for the company that handles Beckham's personal endorsements, Footwork Productions, show that his revenues dropped to £14.8 million (€18.84m-$23.83m) from £16.5 million (€21.00m-$26.56) in 2012. The information was recently revealed by the Associated Press. The Footwork Productions' accounts show that the company's main activity is the “exploitation of David Beckham's name and image rights.” The former England captain stopped playing in May 2013 after five months at Paris Saint-Germain, where he donated his entire salary to charity. Prior to that, he played for more than five years, until December 2012, with the Los Angeles Galaxy in Major League Soccer (MLS).
