Decathlon has announced that it will join the new Cycling Market Data Service, launched by the Bicycle Association of Great Britain in January. The service, which is meant to provide the industry with detailed and up-to-date market data, is free for independent bike shops with a U.K. cycling turnover of up to £5 million (€5.8m-$6.5m), as long as they contribute their data. The more participants contribute their data, the more accurate the overall data will be, the association said. The first month of full service will be April, with monthly reports issued in the third week of May.
