Décathlon has appointed one of its key executives, Franck Vigo, as manager of its interactive operations, including its new virtual store. He was in charge of the group’s data processing and logistics before being named five years ago as general manager of Décathlon France. His responsibilities at the head of the group’s biggest subsidiaries are being taken over by Stéphane Saigre. This 39-year-old manager was most recently in charge of Décathlon’s operations in Belgium and the Netherlands, which will now be led by two different people. Herman Van Beveren, former commercial director of Décathlon Benelux, will run Belgium. Bram Van Heugten, who previously ran a Décathlon store in Kerkrade, will run the Dutch operation. Saigre started off at Décathlon in 1996 as manager of two stores in the Paris region.
