Decathlon has launched its own brand for cross-country skiing, called Inovik. The French sports retailer's house brands already cover both traditional cross-country skiing and skate skiing. Back-country skiing is set to follow in the winter 2019/20 season and a biathlon line in 2021. The novelty for the current season is roller skiing. The Roller-ski RS500 is available in both a traditional and a skate design. The latter comes in two sizes: the shorter for speed and agility, the longer for a feel closer to that of skiing in snow. All models, and their wheels, are made of 6061 T6 aluminum alloy. The two-position bindings, made by Rottefella, meet the NNN and Prolink standards.
