Decathlon is expanding its presence in Berlin. The sporting goods retailer will be opening an eighth store this month, having opened two others earlier this year. The new branch will have a sales floor of 1,400 square meters. With the Mydecathlon membership card, customers will receive a bonus of €10 on making a minimum purchase of €30. The store is targeting a broader group of consumers, including families, commuters, children and adults. In Germany, Decathlon operates 76 branches and employs more than 4,000 people.
