Décathlon is signing contracts for several new stores in Romania after excellent results with its first store in Bucharest, whose sales were 30 percent better than expected in the first eight months of operation, despite the financial crisis. Décathlon’s parent company, Oxylane Group, has also doubled the capacity of its regional warehouse in Seville, Spain, to 31,500 m² in order to supply 31 stores in Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
