Didriksons, the Swedish company specializing in rainwear, has opened a subsidiary in Norway as it continues to build up international sales. The brand had almost disappeared from the market when it was taken over in 1998 by Sören Andreasson, but in 2007 it grew to achieve sales of about SEK 95 million (€10 million) in Sweden and another SEK 50 million (€5.3 million) by agents in other countries. Sales were boosted by Didrikson’s launch of a mid-layer range last year. The brand recently joined the Scandinavian Outdoor Group.
