Global lifestyle brand Allbirds has announced definitive agreements with distributors in the Gulf Countries and Southeast Asia. Alyasra Fashion will be the exclusive Allbirds distributor in the Gulf countries while The Primer Group of Companies will distribute Allbirds’s products across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Alyasra Fashion is a regional fashion and footwear retailer with more than 25 years of experience in the region and a portfolio of more than 60 fashion, footwear and accessories brands. Alyasra operates more than 270 stores in eight markets across the Middle East. Primer Group, headquartered in Manila, distributes a large portfolio of brands including Columbia, Birkenstock, The North Face, Billabong and more.
With these two new deals, Allbirds has now completed agreements with six international distributors. The shift from a direct go-to-market model to a third-party distributor model is a key element of Allbirds’s Strategic Transformation Plan. Earlier this month, Allbirds announced partnerships in Australasia and Japan, following similar deals in Canada and South Korea last year.
