U.S.-based ski manufacturer DPS Skis has launched Revive, a new program that offers customers the opportunity to trade in qualifying used DPS skis for a credit toward new DPS skis and equipment. The credit is up to $500, depending on the condition of the traded-in ski. Upon receipt, DPS will subject the returned skis to a 10-point factory tune-up and treat them with Phantom Glide, the brand’s permanent high-performance base treatment, before offering them back for sale.
“The durability and lifespan of our skis has always been a top priority here at DPS, and it’s not uncommon for a pair of DPS skis to last ten years or more,” says Zach Clayton, Global Marketing Manager at DPS Skis. “With Revive, we can now ensure that our skis will be used to their fullest.”
To facilitate storage and distribution, DPS Skis partnered with used goods retailer Geartrade for Revive. Skis refurbished by DPS will be shipped to and distributed from Geartrade’s Salt Lake City facility. Revive skis can be purchased directly from DPS Skis or through Geartrade.
The Revive program is currently only available to customers in the USA. Both touring and tech bindings are accepted, but skis with two or more binding holes are not accepted.
