Dynafit, Salewa’s brand for touring ski equipment, has granted a license to Scarpa to use an insert compatible with Dynafit’s Quick-Step-In binding. This deal is exclusive for the Italian footwear brand, with the exception that Dynafit uses the same insert for its own footwear. The exclusive agreement is limited to the Quick-Step-In and will be effective with deliveries for the winter 2008-09 season, while Dynafit’s other bindings continue to be compatible with other footwear brands. Salewa sees Dynafit and Scarpa as the global leading brands for touring bindings and footwear, respectively, as both of them have annual sales in a high-five-digit number of units.
