Earlier, at a party in New York last June marking its 70th anniversary, the Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America (FDRA), gratified Wolverine with an award for “Advocate of the Year.” The trade association also gave its Brand Focus award to one of Wolverine's brands, Merrell.
