The trend of micro-brands making a mark in the golf industry continues, with Eastside Golf being the latest player to secure funding. The lifestyle golf brand announced on Thursday that it successfully closed a seed round led by EP Golf Ventures, a partnership between PGA of America and venture capital investment firm Elysian Park Ventures. In total, they raised $3.4 million, and, according to the company, the funds will be used to accelerate growth as they aim to bring more products to the market.
Founded in 2019, Eastside Golf has rapidly gained traction in both footwear and fashion, both on and off the golf course. Their products have been endorsed by notable figures such as Barack Obama, DJ Khaled, and NBA star Jayson Tatum, among others. The brand has also formed partnerships with key players in the industry, including NBA, MLB, and Mercedes Benz. Eastside Golf has notably collaborated with the renowned Jordan Brand.
