ECCO’s new Biom running shoe, created with the company P2i, uses ion mask technology for breathability and to repel water. It also says its biomechanical principles stress a natural motion that lets the foot take its preferred path. Ion mask technology, which has been adopted by Hi-Tec as well, is also said to help protect the outside of the shoe, keeping it new-looking for longer.
