Effective April 1, Salewa Sportgeräte, the German subsidiary of the Italian outdoor company, will be transferred into a newly created company called Oberalp Deutschland, acting as a subsidiary of the Bolzano-based Oberalp Group. In the new company, all activities around the group's own brands, Salewa, Dynafit, Silvretta, Pomoca and Wild Country, will be bundled with those related to the brands that the group distributes in the country, such as Silva and Briko. Benedikt Böhm, until now business unit manager of Dynafit International, will be promoted to joint managing director of the new subsidiary, along with Stefan Rosenkranz, who has been managing director of Salewa Germany since 2007. The new Oberalp Deutschland aims to secure more assignments to distribute additional brands in the country.
