Eider will include a new “beard-friendly'' ski jacket in its 2016-2017 winter collection. Using a “Fix A Shape” zipper developed exclusively for the French winter-sports clothing maker by YKK of Japan, the “Shaper” jacket features a concave curve around the upper part of the face combined with a zip fastener geared to follow the shape of the chin. According to sportstextiles.com, the new design allows the jacket to keep its form without compromising comfort or restricting a skier's mobility.
