Erima has struck out in a new team sports direction by closing its first co-operation agreement with a futsal team, SSV Jahn 1889 from Regensburg in Germany. Futsal is a variation of soccer played with five players per team and on a smaller pitch, typically indoors. Erima will equip both SSV Jahn 1889 men's futsal teams with game and training uniforms, as well as supporting the U13 youth team. While the traditional football team of the club languishes in the second Bundesliga, the futsal team has made a big impact since its founding in 2015. The first team competes in the highest division and won both its southern league and German championship in 2015.
