Eurojersey, a major supplier of fabrics to the sports apparel sector under the Sensitive brand name, has inaugurated a new distribution center of 4,000 square meters at Caronno Pertusella, Italy, that should provide faster and more flexible logistics. It has a capacity for 4 million meters of finished fabrics. A new solar power generation unit will follow this year. Run by Andrea Crespi, who recently replaced his father Giorgio, the Italian company has also invested in the last few years on energy-saving and environmental measures. It has cut its consumption of chemicals and color additives by 25 percent since 2001, and it has obtained ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management systems.
