European Commission investigates Chinese bike subsidies

The European Commission has taken up a complaint by the European Bicycle Manufacturers Association (EBMA), arguing that Chinese bicycle makers benefit from government subsidies. The commission has 13 months to complete an investigation into the matter, which might lead to extra duties for Chinese bicycles coming into the European Union.
