The trade show’s new dedicated area will showcase sports and activewear textiles and accessories.
Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India and Concept N Strategies have teamed up to introduce the Sporttech Pavilion, a new area for the 2025 edition of Techtextil India to showcase sports and activewear textiles and accessories. This collaboration aligns with the Indian government’s focus on technical textile innovations and expanding domestic production, say the trade show’s organizers.

Messe Frankfurt notes that India’s sports and fitness textiles sector is rapidly changing, through evolving consumer habits and advanced materials, and highlights some key figures. The Indian sportswear market was valued at $10.2 million in 2024 and is expected to reach $16.6 million by 2033, achiving a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.1 percent for the forecast period, according to a recent report by IMARC Group.
Exhibitors will include: sports textile material producers, sports and fitness equipment manufacturers with an emphasis on textile-based products, accessories and footwear manufacturers, companies presenting new textile technologies in sports footwear, smart textile manufacturers, chemical suppliers for sports textiles, producers of finishing chemicals that enhance performance (e.g., anti-odor, UV protection, water-repellent coatings), manufacturers of fitness textiles and activewear materials, equipment suppliers, and specialists in fabric testing, dyeing and finishing.
