FESI, the Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry, will host a conference titled “Clarifying and Simplifying Sustainability Rules: Building Effective Policies for the European Sporting Goods Industry” in Brussels on March 20, 2025. This event aims to address critical sustainability challenges within the sporting goods sector.

The conference agenda includes keynote speeches and two panel discussions. Neil Narriman, President of FESI and General Counsel of IP at Puma, will open the event. The first panel, “Shaping the Playbook for Sustainable Products,” moderated by Jean-Paul Judson from NOWMORE, will discuss innovations in sustainable product development with contributions from experts at the European Commission, VF Corporation, and Assosport.

The second panel, “Global Supply Chains in the New Geopolitical and Regulatory Reality,” will examine the impact of current geopolitical and regulatory changes on supply chains. Panelists include representatives from the European Commission, Adidas, and Puma.

The conference will conclude with closing remarks from Jérôme Pero, Secretary General of FESI, followed by a networking lunch. This event provides a platform for industry leaders to discuss the integration of sustainability into business practices and policy development within the sporting goods industry.
