Skistar, Luxcuper and We Love Football are launching a soccer festival, the Sälen Summer Games, in the Swedish mountains. The competition, for children and young people, will be played in Sälen in the summer of 2026, starting on June 12.
The Sälen Summer Games will be a soccer cup unlike any other – where sports, mountain scenery and experiences come together to create an unforgettable summer week for participants and their families. With the magnificent Sälen mountains as a backdrop, teams will not only have the chance to compete on well-maintained pitches but also take part in activities and adventures in collaboration with Skistar.
“We are very pleased to be able to develop our year-round activities with soccer cups for children and young people in Sälen together with Luxcuper and We Love Football,” says Mathias Lindström, Commercial Director at Skistar.
The Sälen Summer Games aim to be a recurring event with Scandinavian appeal, focusing on community, the joy of movement and sustainable experiences.
