Sport 2000 is modernizing its trade fair concept at the Messe Campus Mainhausen. The new logo and name create a clear structure for each fair, reflecting its product range and season. This improves visitor and exhibitor orientation and highlights the product range expertise and brand profile of the fairs.

S for Sport

At the heart of the new system are the S trade fairs, each assigned to a specific segment and order date. S1 stands for running and training/sports style, as well as swim and beach. S2 bundles the outdoor range. S3 focuses on the winter segment.

Trade fair designations are supplemented by the season abbreviation to create an intuitive guidance system offering clear orientation. The English season abbreviation also reflects the trade fairs’ increasing internationalization.

The trade fairs are the home of experts, as reflected in the brand experience.

After its newly redseigned graphical expression, Sport 2000 has now completely changed its trade fair concept.

Sports is coming Home

The categories are considered in the communication for the trade fair and in the planning of the exhibition halls. For example, the S1 fair is positioned as Home of Running, Home of Training, or Home of Swim/Beach, while S2 is Home of Ootdoor and S3 is Home of Winter.

“In our themed worlds — such as Home of Running, Home of Training, Home of Outdoor, and Home of Winter — we curate exhibitors specifically for the respective dealer target groups, ” Margit Gosau, Managing Director of Sport 2000 GmbH, said. “This ensures that both our expert and multi-category dealers feel completely at home and that their needs are met.”

Her colleague Dominik Solleder adds that the new trade fair concept optimizes content and simplifies communication with partners. Naming and assigning individual trade fair areas creates transparency and orientation, increasing efficiency in trade fair planning and execution.

Sport 2000 is introducing trade fair software that enables central and efficient scheduling. The new software offers advantages that make the trade fair process more digital and successful.

The new naming and logo concept will be launched at the S1 HW/AW 2026 trade fair in Mainhausen from November 23 to 25, 2025. The revised concept for trade fair names will be implemented for the first time, ensuring clarity and efficiency in communication.
