French President Emmanuel Macron said on the social media X that the Olympic balloon tethered to a cauldron, one of the iconic images of the Paris 2024 Olympics, will return to Paris every summer until the 2028 Games in Los Angeles. Specifically, the balloon is set to return to the Tuileries Gardens, not far from the Louvre Museum, as in 2024.
President Macron accompanied this announcement with a video of the cauldron and Celine Dion’s voice to be heard singing L’Hymne à l’Amour, as she did during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Games in a stunning performance.
