Everlast has secured six new licensing deals, intended to extend its reach in health and fitness markets in the Americas, Asia, Europe and the Middle East:
- Brands & Fashion NV, based in Belgium, becomes Everlast’s licensee for socks and underwear in the EU (except Italy, the U.K. and Ireland) effective in January.
- Baroody Group S.A.L., a Beirut company that distributes Speedo, Converse and Champion to 200 sporting goods stores throughout Lebanon, becomes Everlast’s exclusive distributor of boxing and mixed martial arts (MMA) equipment in the country.
- Donleigh Sports, an Everlast licensee for Canada since 2003, expands its relationship with the company to be its exclusive distributor of equipment for cardio, strength and MMA.
- Leading Brands, an Everlast licensee for Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay since 2006, adds bags and MMA equipment for all three South American markets and apparel for Paraguay.
- Singapore-based Vintage Sports Partners, Everlast’s exclusive licensee for apparel, footwear, underwear, loungewear, socks and bags for Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore and operator of 10 Everlast stores, has been granted rights to Vietnam as an additional territory, with distribution rights for boxing equipment throughout the territory.
- First Sports Marketing of Hong Kong now has a non-exclusive license for Everlast boxing and MMA equipment and apparel in Hong Kong and Macau, exclusively to gyms and sporting goods retailers, including its own stores.
