Evoc Sports has acquired Tranzbag, a Swiss maker of foldable bicycle transportation bags. Tranzbag was founded 25 years ago by Bendicht Luginbühl, a Bernese bike pioneer and media professional who is considered the inventor of the foldable, serially manufactured bicycle transport bag. Evoc, based in Munich, specializes in protective sports backpacks and bicycle travel bags, and the acquisition will allow it to expand further in the field of bicycle transport. Luginbühl will continue to collaborate as a consultant and co-developer.
