Christian Bättig, owner and founder of Chris Sports, a Swiss importer for numerous sports and bike brands for Switzerland and some other countries, has handed over the reins of management to the company’s previous chief financial officer, Andreas Guglielmo, effective Jan. 1. Guglielmo has been with Chris Sports for more than 12 years. Bättig will remain with the company as chairman of the board of directors, focusing on partner relationships, market developments and opportunities, as well as the planned new building in the Swiss community of Eschlikon.
