Canada Goose Holdings Inc. has announced the appointment of two new board members. Gary Saage, former Group Chief Financial Officer for the Richemont Group, and Jennifer Davis, Partner, Bain Capital Private Equity, join the Canada Goose Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Davis, who brings with her decades of experience in investment banking, will replace Josh Bekenstein, who has made the decision to resign from the Board. Saage, who has extensive experience in the luxury industry, will also join the Audit Committee.
At the same time, Canada Goose announced that Marjan Anwar Khan will join the company as Chief Technology Officer. Khan will lead Canada Goose’s technological evolution, including developing a system-wide architecture strategy, advancing digital strategy, implementing AI and automation practices, and fostering new business partnerships.
As previously announced, Woody Blackford, former Chief Product Officer has now left Canada Goose. Blackford is now Senior Vice President, Chief Product Officer for the Columbia Brand, who are welcoming back an employee who previously worked for the brand for 14 years, including Blackford’s invention of Omni-Heat.
Additionally, Paul Cadman, APAC President, is no longer with Canada Goose after taking up the role in Nov. 2021.
Canada Goose is actively seeking to replace both roles.
