On Sept. 8, Wolverine Worldwide will have a new president and member of the board, Brendan Hoffmann. He brings over 30 years of experience in merchandising, digital marketing and omni-channel retail experiences. Among various stations, he served as president and chief executive of Bon-Ton Stores and Lord & Taylor. Earlier, he helped Neiman Markus in its pioneering effort to launch a strong e-commerce business. Most recently, he spent the last five years as CEO of Vince Holding, a public contemporary fashion company where he also expanded the penetration of e-commerc. Hoffman is taking over one of the three titles of Blake W. Krueger, who will remain chairman and CEO of Wolverine, and he may also replace him at a later stage as the group’s CEO.
