Nike moved quickly to fill the role left by the resignation of Ann Hebert over the methods used by her son Joe in his sneaker resale business. Sarah Mensah, currently vice president and general manager for Asia Pacific and Latin America, will take her place as VP & GM for North America. Mensah previously ran the Jordan brand in North America. Amy Montagne will take over as VP & GM for APLA. The 16-year company veteran was most recently VP/GM for Nike’s men’s division. A 17-year veteran, Aaron Cain, will succeed her. His previous responsibilities included sportswear in Greater China and EMEA, and most recently men’s in North America. Nike has pledged to make an audit of the launch process for limited-edition sneakers to prevent people like Joe Hebert from jumping ahead of other consumers.
