Puma has assigned Johan Kuhlo to a new position as general manager in charge of distribution for Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EEMEA). Kuhlo, who has been lately the company’s head of corporate strategy and investor relations, will be working out of the German company’s regional hub in Salzburg, Austria. He will be reporting to Arne Freundt, general manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Before joining Puma, Kuhlo spent a little less than four years as a project leader in Munich for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Before that he worked for about five years in product management at L’Oréal. To replace Kuhlo as head of corporate strategy, Moritz Schneidmüller has been promoted from his previous position as teamhead of global go-to-market strategy. He will be reporting to Puma’s chief executive, Bjørn Gulden. Schneidmüller has spent most of his career with Puma, working for the company directly since 2016 and, as manager of global strategy, from 2011 to 2014. In the interim he was global strategic planner at Cobra Puma Golf.
