Puma has announced that Paul Spencer is taking over the position of regional sales director for Europe with immediate effect. He succeeds Marek Drvota, who has left the company. The briton has been with Puma since 2007, where he started as a lifestyle sales manager. He became general manager for the U.K., Ireland and the Benelux countries (UKIB) in 2014. Before that, he worked at Adidas and Nike for around two years. Spencer will remain UKIB’s general manager until a successor is found. Spencer’s predecessor, Marek Drvota, has been working as Puma’s European sales director since 2016, and he is leaving the company at his own request, according to his employer. After 12 years with Nike, Drvota joined Puma seven years ago. For a while, he served as the company’s general manager for Eastern Europe
