Zalando’s head of global marketing, Barbara Daliri-Freyduni, has resigned. She had been with the German e-commerce company since October 2019, when she was hired to be its senior vice president of demand. Before that, she was at or near the top in the management of marketing operations at Microsoft for Western Europe, Netflix Europe, Google Europe, Deutsche Bahn, Pixelpark and Deutsche Kreditbank. Zalando has apparently been working on a change of structure for some time. Zalando’s marketing department is now to be split into two units: Markets and Marketing. Its senior vice president of corporate development, Bruno Vanhoorickx, is taking charge of Markets, while Marketing will temporarily be in the hands of two people: Natalie Wills, director of social media & consumer PR, and Ralph Rijks, vice president of global marketing.
