Fila has announced a multi-year endorsement agreement with John Isner, the #1 ranked American male tennis player for the fourth straight season. Isner's partnership with Lacoste ends this year, but during that period he wore Nike footwear. Isner is currently ranked 11th in the world and is the only U.S. player in the men's top 20. He turned pro in 2007 and has since won ten ATP singles titles and three doubles titles. He achieved a career-high ranking of #9 in 2012. The 30-year-old player gained fame after his 2010 first-round match against Nicolas Mahut in Wimbledon, which turned out to be the longest tennis match in history - 11 hours and five minutes. He is also best known for his service, and ranks 10th for the most aces in the history of the ATP. Fila is already sponsoring a roster of elite tennis champions which includes Sam Querrey, Andreas Seppi, Jelena Jankovic, Nadia Petrova and others. In addition, Fila is a sponsor of the BNP Paribas Open and the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships. The brand is also an official supplier to Junior Tennis Champions Center, Van der Meer Tennis, John Newcombe Tennis Ranch, and the Kim Clijsters Academy in Belgium.
