Cisalfa Group announces the 2023/2024 financial results of the parent company Cisalfa Sport S.p.A., with revenues increased to over €700 million (+7.7% compared with 2022/2023) and steady growth over the trailing 5 years (CAGR of 5.5%). The company records around €100 million of Ebitda with consistent growth over the trailing 5 years (+15%) and a slight decrease only in the last fiscal year (-5%) due to the unfavorable impact of costs for the acquisition activities in Germany. These results include the positive effects of Cisalfa Group’s strategic investments in Italy and its first expansion abroad – mainly, the acquisition of the German sports retailer Sport Voswinkel GmbH (50 stores in 10 federal states) in November 2023.

It seems that Cisalfa’s investments are bearing fruit.
Cisalfa Group aims at revenues of €1 billion by the end of the current fiscal year (2024/2025), favored by a strengthened presence in Germany through the acquisition of SportScheck GmbH, another German sports retailer, and its 25 stores in June 2024. As a result of the comprehensive growth and synergies generated by the acquisitions, the Italian-based Group is now one of the main European sports retailers with over 5,700 people, 240 stores in Italy and Germany, and 60 million visitors in its stores.
“Our financial stability and steady growth in revenues allow us to move confidently over the next years and be ready to take advantage of market opportunities. In 2023, we recorded unstable consumption rates due to the disadvantageous macroeconomic environment that reduced purchasing power. In addition, the effect of climate change still makes it difficult to manage the warehouse and collections,” says Boris Zanoletti, General Manager of Cisalfa Group. “As we have entered 2024, we keep positively moving forward our company and estimate that we will confirm our position of a leading sports retailer. This is a key year for the evolution of Cisalfa Group: we have planned investments of over €30 million, mainly to digitize our business and expand our retail network through both the newly established chain Intersport Superstore in Italy and the relaunch of SportScheck in Germany”.
