Italian sportswear company Macron posted consolidated turnover of €196.6 million for financial year 2023, representing an increase of 15.7 percent compared to 2022. All its three main lines of business recorded double-digit growth: Teamwear (+21 percent), Individual lines (+23 percent) and Pro Clubs (+11 percent). Pro forma Ebitda of €33.8 million, up from €21.9 million in 2022, represented 17.2 percent of sales.

Growth was homogeneous across all the countries in which Macron operates, the company said. Its first market remains the UK, followed by Italy and Spain. The Bologna-based company generates more than 80 percent of its sales outside of Italy.

Macron ranks among the top three brands in the UEFA rankings for technical sponsorship, thanks to deals with more than 90 professional clubs. In rugby, Macron is the world’s leading brand. At the latest Rugby World Cup in 2023, seven out of 20 national teams wore Macron, and three out of six national teams in the Guinness Six Nations 2024 (Italy, Scotland and Wales) also wore Macron.
