The Chinese group reported that Saucony’s retail sell-through rate was up more than 50 percent year over year for the three months ended Sep. 30. Meanwhile, the company’s core Xtep brand achieved mid-single-digit year-over-year sales growth on a retail discount level of approximately 25 percent.
SGI Europe has reported Xtep’s success earlier this year.
Xtep is one of Asia’s biggest sports brands. In addition to being a shoe manufacturer and the owner of the Chinese rights of Saucony, K-Swiss, Merrell and many more brands, its sports products are sold by over 8,200 retailers. Xztep was founded in 1987 and exports to 155 countries.
