Fischer and Rossignol, two prominent brands in the Nordic skiing market, have joined forces to produce cross-country boot soles and bindings under the Turnamic brand. To be launched for the 2017/18 season, the soles and bindings are compatible with Rottefella's NNN system. More broadly, the Austrian and French companies have set common goals to further upgrade the performance of their Nordic skiing products. The partners say that Turnamic is intuitive and easy to use, which should help to make cross-country skiing attractive to more participants. It works with a Turn Lock mechanism, which supposedly makes entry and exit easier than ever before. They add that Turnamic is easy and fast to mount, and that its settings may be adjusted without tools. Rossignol and Fischer both sell complete Nordic ranges as part of a wider offering.
