Fischer Skis U.S. has appointed Ryan Leach as its president and chief executive, starting from Nov. 30. Leach has been an independent sales representative for Atomic since 2008, but before that he held the same job for Fischer. Leach takes over from Willy Booker, who was appointed at the helm in July last year. He left Fischer in August and became executive vice president for the Dalbello boot brand in the U.S., from the start of September. Franz Föttinger, president and chief executive at Fischer Sports Group, said in a statement that Leach's experience and knowledge of the brand would help to expand the company's U.S. business, particularly on the Alpine side.
