Florian Weingärtner, a former member of the Ispo team, has joined Sport Invest Search Central Europe, the German-based recruitment agency, as senior consultant in charge of the fashion and lifestyle sectors. The 43-year-old worked for Head, Protective and Blax before joining Ispo, where he was involved between 2004 and 2007 in marketing and business development for its ispovision segment and for the expansion of Ispo's presence in Russia, China, Japan and Brazil. Subsequently, Weingärtner moved into the fashion sector by consulting at Interbrand and on his own for brands such as Hugo Boss, Marc O'Polo and G-Lab. Set up in 2006 and run by two former executives of Chiemsee, Dietmar Damith and Florian Steinberger, Sport Invest CE carries out executive recruitment also in the sporting goods and footwear sectors. It has offices in Munich, Biarritz and Hong Kong.
