Foot Locker has elected Maxine Clark to its board of director. Like Ken Hicks, current chairman and chief executive of Foot Locker, she worked previously for Payless ShoeSource as president of this international shoe retail chain. She also spent 19 years as an executive with May Department Stores. She is now CEO of the Build-A-Bear Workshop, a company with operations in 17 countries that she founded in 1997. It allows children to personalize their teddy bears. Hicks says that Clark is will known for her international retail experience and her innovative approach to the retail industry.
