Footbalance, the Finland-based maker of custom insoles, has appointed Tassos Karamouzis as sales director for new markets. Karamouzis joined the company in 2010 as Scandinavian market area manager. He will use this experience to lead the company's expansion into strategically important new markets. Before joining Footbalance, Karamouzis had a long career in various positions in sales and marketing at Nike. Karamouzis will continue to operate from his current location in Stockholm, Sweden and will also maintain his role as market area manager for Scandinavia. Rasmus Holmgren, Footbalance's sales representative since 2011 and a major contributor in building up the Swedish business for the company, will take over the day-to-day sales operations in Sweden and Denmark as of Jan. 1, 2014 in the role of senior sales executive.
