Chuck Mason has left W.L. Gore & Associates after nearly three years to become president and CEO of Algix, the parent company of Bloom Sustainable Materials, whose sustainable cushioning foams are used by a dozen industry brands including Adidas, Puma, Billabong, Merrell and Oboz. Mason, who also worked for Burton, K2, Ride Snowboards and Boa Technology, was mostly recently a Gore associate in its global technical footwear team. At Algix, he has taken the place of John Wilson, who will continue in the role of chairman.
