Silvana Bonello, former chief operating officer at Superdry, is set to become the chief executive officer and joint managing director of Berlin-based activewear brand Oceansapart. She will succeed Henry Brodski, Oceansapart’s chief financial officer and managing director, who has been serving as interim CEO since leadership responsibility was handed over to the company’s management team last year. Brodski will remain at Oceansapart as joint managing director.

Bonello joined Superdry in 2021. Prior to Superdry, she spent two years at Vans as vice president of planning and operations, after spending 18 years at Nike, most recently as marketplace operations director. Oceansapart was founded in 2017 by Susanna Wagner and Paul Engelmann with a focus on inclusivity and diversity rather than just sports performance. The brand primarily targets Gen Y and Gen Z women, serving customers in the DACH region, its core market, with more recent entries into France, Italy, Poland and Spain.
