François Bouche has been appointed to be the new secretary general of Intersport France, filling a position that has remained vacant since the departure of Joël Armary after the Beijing Olympics two years ago. He worked for Carrefour for about 10 years and has been most recently European general manager of BCBG Max Azria, an international apparel group named after the French designer who founded it in the U.S. 21 years ago. Bouche will report to Jacky Rihouet, the newly minted president of Intersport France. New managers are being recruited in purchasing and other services following some recent departures.
