Frank Koch, a German veteran of the fitness equipment industry, has become managing director of a new company, Sportart 3, that will be responsible for the distribution of a new line of Adidas badminton racquets and other Adidas branded products for boxing and martial arts in the German-speaking countries and Luxembourg. Besides Koch himself, the shareholders in Sportart 3 are the global Adidas licensees for these products, KWCC and Double D. Koch has held leading positions at Icon Health & Fitness, Kettler and an offshoot of Greenmaster that took on a license for Adidas branded tennis table products.
