Frank Weissmann was recently appointed to the position of European sales and marketing director for Fila tennis and accessories at Premium Sports Trading. Previously, the 45-year-old worked as sales manager for Eastpak and was for many years responsible for the tennis division of K-Swiss. Premium Sports Trading, based in Aalen in Germany, has the sublicense for Fila's tennis segment since 2013. From 2017, the company directed by Hermann Olschewski will also have the sublicense for Fila accessories in Europe. The master licensee for Fila in Europe, except the U.K., is Dosenbach-Ochsner, Switzerland's leading shoe and sporting goods retailer. The company, which aims to reposition the brand and to focus on the sporting goods market, has signed other long-term sublicenses for the Fila brand. Medico Sports Fashion has the sublicense for textiles, excluding tennis apparel. Man Socks Italia is the sublicense for socks.
