Franz-Leo Drucks, a sporting goods retailer from Aachen who is now 65 years old, is leaving the helm of the supervisory board of Intersport Germany. He has served on the controlling body of the cooperative for no less than 33 years and was elected chairman in 2005. He will hand over his duties to Knud Hansen, a retailer from Kiel who has been vice chairman since 2005. The 46-year-old has served on the supervisory board of Intersport Germany for 12 years. The change of generations was on the agenda of the group's general assembly held today.
