Freddy has signed a five-year license and distribution agreement with the South Korean group In the F Co Ltd for the brands Freddy and Freddy the Club. The agreement starts with the spring/summer 2010 collection of the Italian brand of fitness and dancewear and is expected to generate at least €5 million in annual sales, at retail prices, within three years. In the F specializes in the distribution of international brands in South Korea and plans to open corners and shop-in-shops in the country’s main malls as well as mono-brand stores in the largest cities. Freddy is sold through 1,700 third-party stores in Italy and more than 2,500 shops in Europe and Russia. It currently has a license and distribution in Japan with Itochu and Descente. Since September 2009, the company is present in the U.S. thanks to seven shop-in-shops located in points-of-sale of Capezio, the American dance specialist.
