Casio is opening a “digital community” through Discord for customers of its long-running G-Shock line of digital watches. On Sept. 23, moreover, the company will be issuing and distributing, free of charge, through the Polygon blockchain, an initial run of 15,000 “G-Shock Creator Pass” NFTs. Holders will be able to take part in “co-creative projects and other events” within the community. One such project is the Color Design Contest, which will determine the colors, materials and pattern of the NFT.
